Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Arabic Religious Secondary Girls‘ School (SUAMPRIPAD) on Saturday organised a poetry recital and debating contest to mark the conclusion of the "Malay Language and Melayu Islam Beraja (MIB) Week".
It was attended by Vice Principal Ustazah Hjh Sarimah Hj Ahmad, senior officers, teachers and 430 students.
The poetry recital was won by Latifah binte Hj Aspar, a secondary three student.
Siti Nurul Hafizah binti Hashim was runner-up. Izzah Naqibah binti Kamis came third.
A debating contest between secondary three and four students on "Keruntuhan akhlak remaja berpunca dari remaja sendiri" was won by the opposition team.
The vice-principal gave the prizes to the winners.
